this summer has been .. AMAZING

it all started when on the last day of school                                  we broke tradition 

                  and instead of going to laura's house for two days
                  we went to americana diner, laser-tagging, swimming in adam's pool 
                  and a slight road trip with laura just to drop rich off. 

hit up the beach several of times
once involving me driving permitless
and thus illegally past a police station to
adam's house then to the beach

                                    grad parties where i met aaron
                                    and chilled with friends.

                                                      which i have been to now 3 times.

               ryla leadership camp for 4 days. 
               great times. met awesome people
               dave, bruce, meg, brandon.
                                                         
boston and ct with my family. where i apparently
rubbed the foot at yale which kids piss on.

                                    countless trips to the city to shop, 
                                    chill, and just meet new people
                                    between boston and the city. i've probalby had
                                    20 bubble teas this summer. and still yet to get that
                                    sunset one i always try to remind myself to get

                                                      at least 15 trips to malls this summer 
                                                      with at least 30 different people xenia. 
                                                      one of my favorite shopping buddies

bowling a sport which i have sucked at
and continued to suck at 

                                    adelphi's and my pool at 1am

a whole month of governor's school
an experience in itself
met some kickass people who i know
i'd like to keep in touch with for life

                              chilling at tiff's house or kelvin's.
                              seems to be where all the cool kids go hah.

                                                      gse reunion at jordan's.
                                                      ryla reunion that dave and i ditched
                                                       for the mall and starbucks.

3 days in boston with jason,
met up with sarah, benny, and jon at harvard.
crazily fun.

                                    us open.  i have never been surrounded and so close to 
                                    so many famous people and so much talent in my entire life. oh baby and gasquet.

                                    personal server to gasquet?! wtf. life's so unfair.

a week in florida with the familiy and cousins.
good times & watching late night bootleg movies where half the screen's missing.
i think my cousins may even like shopping more than i do ..

so Governor's School on the Environment (GSE) was quite the experience i must say .. okay so i did bitch a lot to my friends back home for the first 2 weeks cause honestly hiking around the pine barrens identifying birds and bushes while waging war on the thousands of mosquitos that tried to bite me isn't exactly my thing

but it did get better .. and i had some crazy wild fun .. and met some amazing people who i know i will truly miss

needless to say i was voted .. Most Likely to Overdose on Deet (bug spray) & Most Likely to be up Latest Past Lights Out

even though this has been fun .. i'm ready to go home. the only thing that sucks is now i'll only have a month of my summer left and 4 summer reading books to read. suhweet. then my ryla leadership camp reunion on august 13 which should be fun. then florida sometime after that. although my extremely cool friends from school wanna go to the 50 cent concert on aug 20. are you sure backstreet boys arent more your style ?? haha jk hm.

oh yes a few days ago my class visited 3 shit factories i have probably never smelled and will probably never smell something so repulsive in my entire life. plus we hiked up a landfill which started to vaporize since it was definitely over 100 degrees that day.

OK .. so i survived sedge island

             and now i can say i've done stuff that probalby many people haven't done before
                      - clammed using a clam rake (yes i found 5)
                      - kayaked for 4 frickin hours
                      - gone 50 hours without showering (on friday when i got back .. i took 3 showers)
                      - swam and had a picnic on an isolated beach
                      - tanned so that i look like a mexican now
                      - slept on a porch with 12 people
                      - fished for probalby 3 full hours maybe casting the line 70+ times and still not being able to catch a damn fish
                      - waking up every morning at 5:20 for the sunrise just to be disappointed cause the clouds were blocking it
                      - played "electric clam" and mimicked eel grass
          and lastly ..
                      - got eaten alive by mosquitos and greenheads (i lost count at 81 bug bites)

-- 2 more weeks of this and then finally i get to come back home

at first i was bored shitless and the strange ass kids didnt help either but my suitemates are the shitttttttttttt and i've met some awesome people so all in all it's not so bad anymore

     suite moments:
           amy: so some of the boys asked me "so what's it like rooming with tiffany?, what does she think of the boys here?" all i said was .. sorry but tiff says .. "slim pickings .."

                     last friday was our six months & every day with you just keeps getting better
